If someone is lazy, it means that they don’t like to do any work.

  • He’s a very lazy boy. He never does his homework.

It can also mean that someone doesn’t want to do something at that moment.

  • Let’s drive to the party. I know it isn’t far but I’m feeling lazy!

If a day is lazy, it means that you don’t do very much on that day.

  • I had a lazy day yesterday. I read my book and watched movies all day!

A lazybones is someone who is lazy. If someone doesn’t want to do something, we sometimes say that they are a lazybones. For example, “Wake up, lazybones! You have to go to work.”
